The School was established as Zuarungu secondary School On the 15th October ,1970.it first headmaster was MR. BAYALA C. J. YIBRUL(1970-1982).
In 1983,MR. T. B. QUANSAH(1983-1986) became the second headmaster of the school.
From then, the year 1987-1996 MR. E.K. DARAAN TOOK OVER.
